Alajeeta Patel

Team Leader / Physiotherapist

Alajeeta’s major interest and experience lies in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and pain management. She is a passionate believer in a holistic approach to managing one’s pain and is particularly interested in treating shoulder and knee conditions. Exercise therapy plays a vital role in her service delivery as it provides a springboard back to normal function.

Alajeeta has worked in Private Hospitals, Private Practice, the Aged Care sector and the NDIS. She is very patient with her clients and enjoys assisting clients to improve their mobility and ADL independence. Returning to Bodyright Healthcare after a brief hiatus has enabled her to commence a leadership role as well as a clinical position.

Alajeeta was inspired to be physiotherapist as a child when her grandfather had surgery for a THR. He was visited by physiotherapist at his home to assist him to return to full mobility and independent living. She believes that physiotherapy as a profession requires passion and a strong desire for ongoing learning, which is what excites her about her work. When she is away from work, Alajeeta enjoys traveling, and exploring different countries and cultures of the world. She loves to dance, bike ride and hike. She lives an active lifestyle to stay fit and she wants to inspire others to do the same.
